The two first prizes of “Virtuosos du coeur” were won by two young pianists we support. Pierre-Marie Gasnier, 23, is currently studying at the Paris Conservatoire with Claire DESERT and Romano PALLOTTINI, and in the final round of the competition, which took place on 1 March, he won First Prize.
In the same event, Kim BERNARD, 21, was awarded Second prize. Kim BERNARD is currently studying with Jérome GRANJON at the CRR Paris conservatoire, having already obtained his masters degree at the Lyon Conservatoire, studying with Florent BOFFARD then Laurent CABASSO.
A few weeks earlier, Virgil ROCHE won second prize in the International Piano Campus Competition, as well as the prize for the best interpretation of a concerto composed specially for the contest. Virgil ROCHE is currently studying at the Paris Conservatoire with Marie-Josephe JUDE and Jonah VITAUD, after obtaining his Bachelors degree with Emmanuel STROSSER and Cécile HUGONARD-ROCHE.
