In October he was ranked first in the entrance exam to the highest echelon of the Paris conservatoire: the “Diplôme d’artiste interprète” (D.A.I). This prestigious Dutch lieder competition awarded a First Prize only this year, in addition to which Florian and Adèle were also awarded no less than four special prizes. One month later, Florian was one of 24 pianists to be selected amongst about 100 candidates to participate in the final round of the formidable Busoni competition (Bolzano) which will take place in the summer of 2017. To cap all these achievments, in November Florian was honoured with the title “Lauréat 2016 HSBC” at the Aix-en-Provence festival.
