– At the tender age of 14, Arielle Beck entered the Paris Conservatoire and was invited to give a recital in the prestigious setting of the Roque d’Anthéron Festival.
– Christophe Madelin was offered places at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève and also the Lyon Conservatoire, which he chose to accept.
– Meanwhile, Mikako Nagata also succeeded the entrance exam for the Masters degree at the Lyon Conservatoire.
– In September, Gaspard Thomas won third prize in the International Szymanowski Competition in Poland, worth € 10,000. He also obtained the two special prices, that of the best interpretation of a work by Szymanowski (€ 5,000), and the contemporary work (€ 1,000). – Etienne Rall, just 15, won 1st prize in the “Young Talents” Competition, Port Vendre. He also won the “Young Talent” Prize in the Mayenne International Competition.
– Ulysse Le Beuze won 3rd Prize in the same international competition. Like Gaspard, he was selected to receive the €30 000 Banque Populaire grant.
– Arthur Gautier won 2nd prize in the “Virtuoses du Coeur” competition in Paris.
– Florian Caroubi, who had already been appointed assistant professor at the Paris Conservatoire at the end of last year, has also just been appointed teacher of piano accompaniment at the Lyon Conservatoire.
