Overview

Training centre for advanced pianists, selective and state-supported

Candidates wishing to benefit from the high standard of training provided by Piano Cantabile must have obtained a D.E.M (a graduating diploma from a conservatoire). The upper age limit is 36.

In an audition by both teachers, each candidate should present a programme consisting of a fast classical sonata movement, a virtuoso study and a work of their own choice lasting from five to ten minutes. The successful student then signs a contract with Piano Cantabile setting out his or her personal objectives, the course length and regularity of lessons

The courses offered by Piano Cantabile consist of renewable modules of twelve hours of lessons. The fee for one module, greatly reduced by subsidy, is 240 euros, plus an annual subscription fee of 150 euros.
